Classes for ages 7-13


There are many reasons for your child to become involved in martial arts. We have developed a program based on traditional Taekwondo for kids called, Karate for Kids. The Karate for Kids system is based on a lifetime learning concept in addition to technical skills. The building blocks for our system are monthly themes and life skills such as:

  4. • April: Goals for your Education

  5. • May: Respect

  6. • June: Attitude

  7. • July: Goals for your Relationships

  8. • August: Perseverance

  9. • September: Honor

  10. • October: Goals in the Community

  11. • November: Self-Control

  12. • December: Integrity


In addition to the monthly themes and life skills, our system includes the unique Victory Patch. Kids are rewarded special Victory Stars. These different colored stars are rewarded for outstanding performance in karate class, school, home or at a tournament competition. Kids may receive the following stars for the following deeds:


Victory Stars Awarded for:

  1. • Gold Stars: Straight A’s, Honor Roll, or significant improvement

  2. • Silver Stars: Special Monthly Performance Awards

  3. • Blue Stars: Monthly Themes, Weekly Lessons, Classroom Performance

  4. • Red Stars: Tournament or Taekwondo Event Participation, Practicing at Home
